I'm such a pinhead....

My Leonardo 4x5 was out on loan with a friend for awhile. I needed a break from it, for both creative and financial reasons. (Even when I can scam free film, $2.25 a shot for developing adds up. I wish I could develop them at home.)

But it's back now, and it's been nice to get out and shoot with it, weather permitting. This shot of City Hall might be my favorite shot from my first day out with it. Google Maps almost points to the exact spot where I was standing when I took this photo.

I'd forgotten what a time consuming pain in the ass it is to scan and remove dust marks from 4x5 film. I think the results make it worthwhile. I haven't felt so "in tune" with a camera since the summer of 2000, when I shot over 100 rolls in six weeks with my Lomo LC-A. It really feels like an extension of myself.

Open for Business

Yah, I realize that there are only three, maybe four people who actually read this weblog. And any one of you could get pretty much any photo you wanted from me for free. But I just thought I'd let you know that I now have photos for sale at ImageKind. There are only a couple up there right now. I'm hoping to get at least a couple more up. I'm kinda limited by the free account though.

* I've been watching King Kong, all three versions over the last three nights. I don't know what came over me. My head kinda hurts now.

Geez, if I'm not careful I'm gonna start speaking the language soon.

This photo was put on the Flickr Blog today. I actually have two photos on the Flickr Blog front page right now. If they're not careful, they're going to turn my pretty little head. ;-)

I love this shot. I got my poppy from him and he pinned it on for me.

Yah, whatever.......

You Are An INFP

The Idealist

You are creative with a great imagination, living in your own inner world.
Open minded and accepting, you strive for harmony in your important relationships.
It takes a long time for people to get to know you. You are hesitant to let people get close.
But once you care for someone, you do everything you can to help them grow and develop.

In love, you tend to have high (and often unrealistic) standards.
You are very sensitive. You tend to have intense feelings.

At work, you need to do something that expresses your personal values.
You would make an excellent writer, psychologist, or artist.

How you see yourself: Unselfish, empathetic, and spiritual

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Unrealistic, naive, and weak

And I go around wearing daisies in my hair.
