zzzz.....

I wanted to take it easy today. But I got a desperate call from my sister. She had a new refrigerator delivered and it was dropped off on her front porch. She was paranoid that someone would steal it before she got home. She got me to run over there to babysit it until she or her bf got home. I got to sit around there for 90 minutes until they got back. Then I got to help haul the new one inside and load the old one into their truck. I didn't get to go to the dump though.

One good thing about this is that I got to pick up the film she got for me. Nine rolls of 120 film, 200 sheets of b&w 4x5 film, 30 sheets of c-41 4x5 film and 50 sheets of Ektachrome 4x5 film. That should keep me busy for a few days. I just have to scam the money for developing.

One of these days I'd like to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed, instead of feeling more tired than when I went to bed.

Stuff Happens.

I know. I'm not a good "blogger".

My brother came up with a 19 inch monitor he wasn't using. I run two computers with a KVM switch, and said monitor promptly fried the video card on one of them. That has been replaced. I also noticed a smudgy bit near the bottom of the screen. I took some windex and a paper towel to it and rubbed off part of the anti-glare coating. There's a big ugly splotch in the shape of an Easter Island statue in the center. I've decided not to use this monitor for now.

I finally got the 4x5 pinhole camera from my sister. Unfortunately she could only find one 4x5 back for it. I ended up buying two more for it. As a consequence, I no longer have enough money to get the film developed. I did get a call from my sister later. She snagged some free expired 4x5 film for me.

I went shoe shopping with Jen. She got a pair of shoes so gorgeous, I found myself wishing I was a woman just so I could wear them.

I've been allowing myself the occasional hop off the wagon lately. Well, last night I must have tripped and landed on my head, because there are some holes in my memory. I've been informed that this is a good thing. Damn you tequila!

I'm taking it easy now. Other than replacing the video card, I've done as little as possible today. Movement is not my friend right now.

Sometimes you feel a certain degree of hostility toward rules and perhaps even enjoy ambiguity.

You have a strong interest in others' needs and well-being. You are pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative. You generally see others as selfish, devious, and sometimes potentially dangerous. People find it moderately easy to relate to you. You find helping other people genuinely rewarding and are generally willing to assist those who are in need. You find that doing things for others is a form of self-fulfillment rather than self-sacrifice. You dislike confrontations and are perfectly willing to compromise or to deny your own needs in order to get along with others. You do not like to claim that you are better than other people, and generally shy from talking yourself up. You are mostly a compassionate person, however you prefer to make objective judgments when possible.

You like to live for the moment and do what feels good now. Your work tends to be careless and disorganized. Often you do not feel effective, and may have a sense that you are not in control of your life. You are a reasonably organized person and like to have a certain amount of routine in your life. You have a strong sense of duty and obligation, and feel a moral obligation to do the right thing. You are content to get by with a minimal amount of work, and might be seen by others as lazy. You find yourself procrastinating and show poor follow-through on tasks. Often you fail to complete tasks - even tasks that you want very much to complete. You are not an overly cautious person. You will think about alternatives and consequences but make up your mind fairly quickly.

Meme from Miggie, cuz I'm bored

Meme 1: What ten albums would you consider rating 10/10? What ten albums do you listen on their entirety without skipping a single song? What ten albums you can still enjoy and never get tired of? Curzon, Wiener Oktett - Schubert - Dvorak, Piano Quintets

My own group.

I found out that one of my contacts has a Flickr group dedicated to her. That's the third contact on my list to be so honoured that I know of. I searched to see if anyone started a group about me. This is what Flickr told me.

We couldn't find any groups about christopher and evans.

Would you like to try a search for groups about family, street, csd, gay or colorado instead?

umm....... OK.

Anyway, the of Montreal concert last night was great. I shot two rolls, but they aren't developed yet. There was also some bonus HLA just after the show. Woo-hoo!!!!
